They managed to glorify the rich historical heritage of their ancestors and preserve the centuries-old national traditions and customs, as well as folklore elements of Korean culture. The study of the history and mentality of the Korean people, as one of the ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan, as well as the foundations of society and the social characteristics of modern South Korea, is of great importance for the development of domestic Korean studies. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to consider the specifics of the social and cultural transformations of South Korean society during the process of internationalization in the international space.
