PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN IN THE GREAT WORLD WAR

Abstract

A lot of research has been conducted on the topic of women's participation in the Great Patriotic War. Now it is possible to reconsider and study the issues that were previously distorted and not revealed. The main purpose of the article is to study the history of famous women who fought in the Great Patriotic War, to identify historical gaps, to assess their formation as great defenders of the Fatherland, to study the patriotic qualities of soldiers as an example of educating the younger generation.

The problem of women during the Great Patriotic War is wide and multifaceted. Therefore, it is impossible to cover it in one article. The image of a woman patriot, warrior, worker, mother of a soldier during the war must be preserved in the memory of the people.
