USA AND CHINA IN THE CONTEXT OF THE ACTIVITIES OF PRIVATE MILITARY COMPANIES

Abstract

In August of this year, the most famous founder of private military companies (PMCs), Evgeniy Prigozhin, died in the crash of an Embraer 600 business jet over the Tver region in Russia. As a result, events related to Wagner again attracted world attention to the main activities of PMCs. Facts have shown that over the past thirty years, PMCs have played an increasingly important role in local wars and regional conflicts, including in the special military operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine. However, the phenomenon of PMCs is a rather controversial and controversial topic. This article discusses the reasons for the emergence of PMCs and analyzes their characteristics. In the process of research, we will see that the corporate culture of PMCs with the support of the US government cannot be underestimated, although they still experience many difficulties in their development. Of course, their experience needs to be studied and applied to solve many problems, in particular, ensuring the safety of working Chinese and Chinese companies abroad
