Annotation. The article highlights the strategic development of the transport infrastructure of the Central Asian countries with the main focus on expanding the port and railway network while attracting foreign investment. Major ports such as Bandar Abbas and Chabahar are seen as key hubs influencing international trade partnerships. Chabahar, with international investments, is becoming a strategic maritime hub, providing not only Iran's exports and imports, but also opening new transit routes to Central Asia and Europe.
The paper analyzes the impact of projects on the geopolitical situation of the region, taking into account the interests of various countries and their desire to strengthen their economic and trade ties, emphasizes the importance of infrastructure initiatives within large-scale transport corridors, such as the International North-South Transport Corridor, and their impact on global transit and transport potential.
The study also examines many signed agreements and investments, revealing their role in the formation of new transport corridors, in expanding economic aspects and strengthening Iran's geo-economic influence in the region and beyond. The main purpose of this work is to identify strategic, economic and diplomatic initiatives of this route, as well as to assess its impact on the geopolitical situation in the region. The subject of the study includes the impact of these initiatives on the geopolitical situation and transit routes.
The geopolitical impact and Kazakhstan's willingness to participate in global transit make this study relevant for the development of modern transport dynamics. The importance of developing integrated transit routes underlines the strategic impact of these infrastructure initiatives on the formation of new economic ties and transit routes in the region and in the global economy.
