Abstract

.The article examines the development process of Kazakhstan as a sovereign, independent state. Particular attention is paid to the role of President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the preservation and strengthening of our statehood. In accordance with historical standards, in a short period of time our country has taken major steps towards sovereign development and achieved significant results. Kazakhstanis faced many difficulties on the way to independence, but overcome all of them and the country embarked on the path of rapid economic, social and political modernization. Modern Kazakhstan is an internationally recognized country with its own direction of development.
