Since the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the regulation of migration processes has become one of the most important areas of state policy. The modern migration process is becoming more and more dependent on global trends. In this context, national migration legislation and public policies do not fully take into account new internal and external factors.
However, the issue of both external and internal migration in the country remains relevant. It is worrying that the balance of external migration in Kazakhstan is negative. That is, there are fewer people who come to the country than those who go abroad for permanent residence and work.
