The study aims to analyze the impact of socio-economic and cultural factors on the region's development, drawing on Slovtsov's travel notes. The main objectives include determining the value of his work as a historical source, evaluating the region's socio-political and economic conditions, and demonstrating how these studies can contribute to further research in historical geography and socio-economic history. The work is significant for understanding both the historical context of the region and the contemporary analysis of Northern Kazakhstan's strategic development.
The research methodology is based on a comparative-historical approach and includes an analysis of the travel notes as well as a comparison with other historical sources. The main findings of the study show how Slovtsov thoroughly analyzed the region's economic and social conditions, providing modern researchers with a comprehensive understanding of the lives of nomadic and sedentary societies.
The study makes a significant contribution to the understanding of the historical geography and ethnography of Northern Kazakhstan, reflecting the interaction of nomadic and sedentary cultures.
